A 3 day, 3 night slackpacking through the beautiful mistbelt forest and pristine grasslands of protected conservancies KZN Midlands. Fully guided and includes all meals, farmstyle accommodation and luggage transfers.
This is a three day round hike encompassing curated paths through one of the oldest and most well protected nature conservancies in the Midlands. Well known for its rich biodiversity, the daily hikes are gentle in distance and gradient making this a perfect beginner’s hike.
Highlights include traversing the forest canopy on a zip line tour (optional), an indigenous tree trail and lodging in old Natal farm houses.
Comfortable accommodation with locally grown, home cooked meals as an added bonus. In the summer, there are rivers and dams to swim in and plenty of picturesque picnic spots on route.
